Seminars and Workshops

Good Thinking Works ™ offers a number of seminars and workshops for continuing education credit (CEC). These cover such areas as professional ethics, cultural relations, and creative problem-solving techniques. Our initial client population has been social workers, but our Continuing Education Credit program is designed to be suitable for other social service professionals, such as psychiatrists and clinical psychologists. Indeed, it is part of our mission to provide continuing education for all of those in what Dr. Prentiss calls the helping professions.

We have presented a series of workshops to social service professionals several times this year, both in and outside of Rhode Island. Recently we have designed a fourth and obtained approval to offer it for continuing education credit. We have additional workshops either under consideration for approval or in the process of being designed. The four workshops already approved and available are described in detail here.
