Course Description
Ethical Conduct in the Helping
Professions,
based on the all-day Ethics and Professional Conduct workshop of years past, is
an investigation of some of the ethical and practical problems facing
individuals in the helping professions in a variety of settings in which they
serve the public.
It focuses on ethical reasoning, particularly as such reasoning applies to the
resolution of ethical conflicts that arise in professional life. Emphasis is
placed on critical and reflective thinking about ethics in the helping
professions.
Learning objectives include the ability to:

dilemmas and consider ways of resolving them.
