Course Description

Ethical Conduct in the Helping Professions, like the all-day Ethics and Professional Conduct workshop, is an investigation of some of the ethical and practical problems facing individuals in the helping professions in a variety of settings in which they serve the public.  It focuses on ethical reasoning, particularly as such reasoning applies to the resolution of ethical conflicts that arise in professional life. Emphasis is placed on critical thinking about ethics. Learning objectives include the ability to thoughtfully pursue resolutions of ethical dilemmas that arise in the helping professions.
